You describe exactly why I never got such a watch. I had a strong "Hell, no!" reaction when they first came out, and I stuck with that. My relationship with my phone is unhealthy enough.
Yeah. I totally get this. When I first got my watch it was because I am a runner and I was tired of carrying my phone. But, then…my goodness…all of a sudden everything was tethered to my wrist.
I think I’m going to get a fitness watch so I can listen to music and track my pace. And that’s it.
No kidding, if I forget my phone, I feel like I forgot my pants. I remember the days when I could disappear into the mists for days at a time and no one cared...
